Over 15 Years of Service

Brickliners has been meeting the needs of home and business owners in Burlington, Vermont since 2005. Owner, Jake Loeffler was born and raised in the area and his customers are his friends and neighbors. Our mission is to educate our community about the dangers of chimney and fireplace neglect and to provide services to keep them maintained. We offer the valuable services that the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) admits leading to the safest and most efficient chimney and fireplace systems. Chimney sweeps and inspections keep the chimneys from having fire emergencies and help them to work well and last longer. We are able to offer the best service possible because we expect the best of our company.

Brickliners Putting Education First

What sets Brickliners apart is our dedication to excellence through education and training. Our technicians are CSIA Certified (CSIA) which means they have classroom and field training, have completed and passed a 3-hour examination over standards and diagnostics, and have maintained membership by recertification every three years. The CSIA credential is the industry standard and one we stand behind. Not only are our technicians CSIA certified sweeps, trained by CSIA certified sweeps, or working toward CSIA certification, but we require excellence on many levels—of our company, ourselves, and our employees. Our dryer exhaust technicians are also CSIA Certified. Our installation team is certified by the State of Vermont as natural gas installers. We are overseen by the ethics committee of the National Chimney Sweep Guild (NCSG) as well as the Code of Ethics required of all CSIA members. These types of “checks and balances” are designed to protect homeowners and the public from scams within the industry.

Please, if you’re concerned that some chimney technician or company may be attempting to scam you or someone you know, check their credentials. You can search your zip code to find out who is certified. Not only will you find us on the CSIA roster of certified technicians, but we are also registered with the State of Vermont Division of Public Safety and the State of Vermont Fire Prevention Division. We are factory-trained installers for our top brands and products and we continue education as technologies and standards change.

When it comes to the best comprehensive chimney care in the industry, look to professionals with credentials. At Brickliners we use the most modern and top-of-the-line equipment to diagnose, troubleshoot, inspect, clean, and repair your chimney system. When you’re looking to hire someone to come into the privacy of your home and complete projects and maintenance, it’s important to choose a company you can trust.
